Reporting a blog for Digital Millennium Copyright Act or DMCA violations is fairly easy but before you file a report, make sure that the Site in question truly is in violation. DMCA reports and not taken lightly and false reports may have you in court with a hefty fine.
To report a DMCA violation you must be the true owner of the content in question, in other words you can not of copied the content from somewhere else and called it yours. You can also not report a site that has copyrighted videos, images, music, e.g. if you are not the owner of the content. You may think you are doing a serves to the internet by policing sites and reporting them for obvious DMCA violations, but if you are not the owner you are only wasting Google's time and your own.

My personal experience with reporting DMCA violations was rather fast and only took 3 days for the content to get removed but your experience maybe be different. The site I reported copied one of my post word from word and their were not following questions asked by Google. The content was removed fast and easy as that.
