Adding Multiple Page Gadgets

A Page Gadget is simply a navigation bar.  If you have added one already you have found out that it will not allow you to add a second one. Well I will tell you how to get around that.

This tweak will still not let you Add More Then 10 Static Pages.

After you have added a Page gadget to your blog though the Page Elements, you will want to go to Edit HTML.
Once your in Edit HTML you will want to search (Ctrl+F) for  PageList1.
Once you have found that in your HTML code you might see something like this below.

<b:widget id='PageList1' locked='false' title='' type='PageList'/>
Now copy this line you see above and paste it directly below it. Then Change the PageList1 to PageList2.

Example:

<b:section class='tabs' id='crosscol' maxwidgets='1' showaddelement='yes'>
<b:widget id='PageList1' locked='false' title='' type='PageList'/>

<b:widget id='PageList2' locked='false' title='' type='PageList'/>

Now all you need to so is save and go back to Page Elements. Drag the second Page Gadget to whereever you want.

I did that, it added another page list, but no matter what I do it's vertical instead of horizontal. Check it out. www.homemademom.com.

OK this just add more gadgets but not the pages itself. is there a way to add more pages, 3rd party perhaps?

You can only have 10 pages however you can link post into the page gadget. This has to be done though the template HTML page. I will get a post up on that shortly. A easier way is to use the navigation buttons we have on this site.

how can u edit the formatting to look like a regular blogger add-on Page? When I used the above method, I was able to get a new page however as far as formatting goes it too the form of a bullet list. Zero design options for font or any obvious way to remove the bullet point...

Their are only 4 pages being displayed in your template coding so the problem seems to be that the page is not turned on. Try going to Page Elements and click the Edit icon on the Page Gadget. Then makes sure you have all available pages selected.
